Pirkanmaa Dance Centre
Pirkanmaa Dance Centre (PDC) is a regional expert in the field of dance; an artistic and working community for freelance dance artists. It is one of the six regional dance centres in Finland. Since its establishment in 2004, the main objectives of the PDC and the regional centre have been to develop the sector, to promote the regional and social accessibility of dance, and to improve the employment and working conditions of dance artists.
The PDC operates in Tampere, Pirkanmaa, as well as nationally, supported by the City of Tampere and the Finnish Arts and Culture Agency (Kuvi).
