Maisemassa – A Screening at Orivesi
Welcome to an evening where body, landscape and film meet. The screening presents a selection of recent short films by Finnish dance and circus artists.
The works move through forests, cities and inner landscapes, exploring the relationship between humans and their environment through movement, dance, aerial acrobatics and juggling.
The evening raises questions: How do the body and the landscape communicate with one another? How does the environment shape us, and what kind of mark do we leave on it?
The programme:
- Eetu Ranta: Weave
- Kardo Shiwan: FUR FUR
- Kati Kallio & Tanssiryhmä Ihanat: Sininen
- Nuua Company: A Bridge to Nowhere
- Tuulia Soininen: Tuoni
The screening also includes a short artist discussion.
The event is organised by Sysäys ry in collaboration with the Cultural Services of the City of Orivesi and Pirkanmaa Dance Centre.
