Only Bad Timings

Welcome to the carnival of a free woman! You are invited to witness a matter of public declaration: no one shall lay a hand on my body.

The solo dance piece Only Bad Timings delves into the bodily experiences of voluntary childlessness. The work expresses the struggle between belonging and not belonging.

What happens when the body becomes a public notice board; a baby-making machine driven by the rhythm of a biological clock or an institution designed for narrowly targeted care?
